Il piano nella
foresta
Il giovane Shuhei, figlio di un famoso pianista, si trasferisce con la madre da Tokyo ad una piccola
cittadina di periferia. Qui apprende dell'esistenza di un misterioso pianoforte, che giacerebbe abbandonato nella
foresta adiacente: i ragazzi del luogo lo visitano come prova di coraggio, ma uno di loro, Kai, afferma che il piano
è suo e che solo lui può suonarlo.
Ben presto Shuhei e Kai stringono amicizia, uniti dal loro amore per la
musica. Mentre Shuhei si allena fin da piccolo in estenuanti esercizi quotidiani per diventare un grande pianista, Kai
è un talento naturale, che ha imparato esercitandosi con il piano della foresta, senza nemmeno saper leggere uno
spartito.
Il loro legame verrà comunque messo a dura prova quando entrambi prendono parte al concorso nazionale
per giovani pianisti...


Storyline: 

Amamiya Shu transfers to Moriwaki elementary filled with
hope and ambition. But it doesn't take long before he gets picked on by the class bullies, and gets involved in a dare
to play the mysterious piano in the forest. Igniting his meeting with an equally enigmatic child that goes by the name
of Ichinose Kai, who seems to be the only one capable getting sound out of the thought to be broken piano.
